Means to an End

Silenced by reason
I ask why
And god answers.
But I do not understand
The language
I can’t interpret the unholy

But the experts can.

The academic can interpret
The dead languages
And meet his own ends
While creating a means
For the blind.

ok......i wanna post my ideas behind this.....once again, do not read this if you have your own ideas about what this means. Ultimately, don't let me tell you what to get out of the words. The poem exists in your interpretation, not my intentions.

Means to an End

Silenced by reason
I ask why (the things we can't
explain)
And god answers.
But I do not understand (we turn
irrational
explanations)

The language
I can’t interpret the unholy
(i can't understand the irrationality)
But the experts can. (experts = sarcasm)

The academic can interpret
The dead languages (academics = authority figures that claim to know better)
And meet his own ends (interperatations by humans are biased)
While creating a means
For the blind. (being mislead by those that claim to have more answers than you do)

basically, i meant that we are all confronted with uncertainty and we must approach it without biases to figure it out. This was advice and encouragement to anyone that has dealt with unceratainty. Specificlly, the words were inspired by particular unceratainty in my life.
