Sitting on a Mountain

The greatness of a moment
That has to end
As all moments do.
The inevitable
Destruction
Of all creation
Is the
Way with our specis.
Can I run and hide,
Should I run and hide,
No.
The predestined
Payment
Of a rapturous moment
Is worth the risk.

The greatness of a moment
(think of a picture taken of a joyous moment)

That has to end
As all moments do.
(everything ends, a great date, a fun event, etc)

The inevitable
Destruction
Of all creation
Is the
Way with our specis.
(it is natural for things to end, so its hard to control it.)

Can I run and hide,
(to avoid future pain can I avoid putting myself out there?

Should I run and hide,
(is acting in a way to avoid future pain a good thing to do)

No, (I’m not going run and hide)

The predestined
Payment
(inevitable endings)

Of a rapturous moment
(of those great moments)

Is worth the risk payment.
(I’m not going to run and hide because it is worth the risk of pain)
