I Forgot
Alone,
But for the birds
That pierced the solitude,
And pierced the pain.
Standing there,
Wrapped in simplicity,
My lament ended.
The reminders
Echoing through the trees
Are reclaimed
By the rightful heir.
I exist because of a god
Defined by senses,
And am reminded
Of the simplicity
Of it all.
But for the birds
That pierced the solitude,
And pierced the pain.
Standing there,
Wrapped in simplicity,
My lament ended.
The reminders
Echoing through the trees
Are reclaimed
By the rightful heir.
I exist because of a god
Defined by senses,
And am reminded
Of the simplicity
Of it all.

Alone,
But for the birds
That pierced the solitude, (imagine standing in nature listening to birds)
And pierced the pain. (it grabs my attention and I momentarily forget)
Standing there,
Wrapped in simplicity, (nature, all you have to do is live and die)
My lament ended. (I was reminded of how simple life really is and the emotion associated with my troubles ended)
The reminders
Echoing through the trees, (reminders of the simplicity, also reminders of her)
Are reclaimed
By the rightful heir. (nature, because all of this natural)
I exsist because of a god
Defined by senses, (a spirituality created by each indivudual, mine happens to be in nature)
And am reminded
Of the simplicity
Of it all. (being in nature reminded me of the simplicity of life and helped me get past the temporary pain is was in)
